Okay, before I start talking, this is to be in no offense to anyone; It's just my opinion, and somtimes my opinions are rubish.
Moving on, everyone knows about super ball commercials, and how amazingly funny some of them are, right? Crawl out of that hole if you don't. (Just kidding, have your opions)
Well anyways, I've noticed how some of the Pre-Super Ball commercials make me mad for some strange reason.. If you don't know what I'm talking about, allow me to explain. What I call a Pre-Super Ball commercial, is basically the commercials of the entire family getting ready with for the game, wearing their matching jerseys, mom making snackage in the kitchen, little boy carrying in ice bags, little girls outside helping dad make burgers, and while they're all doing this, they're singing that fabulous "We Will Rock You," song by Queen.
I have no idea why, but for some reason, this entire picture aggrivates me. Maybe it's just a cultural thing, but whenever I watch those commercials, I think to myself, "Who the hell does that." And then it comes to me. "Oh yeah! All my crazy American friends."
...Just kidding. Not all my friends do that, and they're not all crazy.. Just my Asian friends. xD
So, you're probably thinking im byist, racist, stereotypical, or whatever. But it's just strange for me because my family never makes a big deal out of those types of things. Like for some Americans, having roasted pigs for every single birthday may seem taboo, but for my family, its just the average get together celebrating another trip around the sun for a special person. And another thing that probably adds to it is that I don't find the super ball thing very special.. Sure other people try to sneak into our house during super ball because of our giant sectional-couch, and flat screen TV, but other than that, we don't really experience anything different.
